On 26 August 2021, all home-based staff and locally-recruited staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington D.C. bid farewell to Dato’ Azmil Mohd Zabidi, Ambassador of Malaysia to the United States of America. Dato’ Azmil had served Wisma Putra for almost 30 years and will officially retire on 27 August 2021.
In the course of his illustrious career, Dato’ Azmil has served abroad in various capacities - Brussels, Wellington, Baijing, Shanghai, Viet Nam and the United States of America. We wish Dato’ Azmil all the best in his future undertakings. He will be missed.
