Dear Sir/Madam,
The Embassy of Malaysia, Washington D.C., wishes to inform you that effective 1 April 2022, the entry requirements from the U.S. to Malaysia are as follows:

| Entry Eligibility | Malaysians and non-Malaysians may enter Malaysia without prior approval from the Malaysian authorities.
LOU/Notice of Travel/MyTravelPass/MyEntry are no longer required.

| Before Departure | 1. MySejahtera App
i) One week prior to departure, download and activate the MySejahtera App (https://mysejahtera.malaysia.
ii) Complete the Pre-Departure Form through the MySejahtera Traveller icon.
iii) For those vaccinated abroad, upload your details under Overseas Vaccination Details.
iv) FULLY Vaccinated travellers will be issued a BLUE Digital Traveller's Card, and are exempted from quarantine.
v) PARTIALLY Vaccinated/UNVACCINATED travellers will be issued a RED Digital Traveller's Card, with a 5-day Home Surveillance Order (HSO).
2. COVID-19 Tests
i) All travellers (7yrs old and above) are required to upload:
a) a NEGATIVE PCR test result taken two days prior to departure (48 hours).
b) a NEGATIVE RTK-Antigen Professional test result taken two days (48 hours) for travellers who were infected with COVID-19 in the past 6-60 days of departure.
ii) For unvaccinated travellers, please provide proof of medical exemption from vaccination.
3. COVID-19 and Travel Insurance
Non-Malaysians are required to purchase a COVID-19 & Travel Insurance (a minimum of USD20,000.00) for the entire duration of stay in Malaysia. See: https://www.mysafetravel.gov.

Upon Arrival |
1. All travellers will be required to undertake another RTK-AG COVID-19 test; the costs for COVID-19 test, quarantine and any other related cost will be borne by the traveller.
2. All travellers entering Malaysia who are fully vaccinated and are tested negative on arrival will not require to be quarantined.
3. For those who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated must observe a mandatory five (5) day quarantine.
