Courtesy Call on H.E. Ambassador Dato Serbini Ali, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the U.S.

On 7 March 2023, H.E. Ambassador-Designate Dato' Seri Nazri Aziz paid a Courtesy Call on H.E. Ambassador Dato Serbini Ali, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the U.S. Both Ambassadors discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral agenda, as well as prospects to further strengthen the ASEAN-US relations. Dato’ Serbini Ali is currently the Chair of ASEAN Committee in Washington, D.C.

As one of Malaysia's closest neighbours, bilaterally, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam have a longstanding special relations deep rooted in common heritage, culture and people-to-people ties.
