On 4 December 2025, Ambassador Tan Sri Shahrul Ikram attended the funeral of Dr. M. Yaqub Mirza, where he conveyed the heartfelt condolences of Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the Prime Minister’s family; to the loved ones of the deceased.
