On 5 December 2025, Ambassador Tan Sri Shahrul Ikram hosted a networking dinner for the FAM delegation led by YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Hamidin Haji Mohd Amin, Honorary President of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) at Rumah Malaysia. Also present were YBhg. Dato’ Sivasundaram Sithamparam Pillai, Deputy President of FAM and YBhg. Datuk Saaran Nadarajah, Vice President of FAM.
The delegation was in Washington, D.C. to attend the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Draw at the Kennedy Center.
