On 13 December 2021, CDA a.i. Fairuz Rozali attended the ASEAN Committee in Washington (ACW) Ambassadors meeting with NSC Coordinator for the Indo-Pacific Dr. Kurt Campbell, and Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Dr. Ely Ratner, at the Philippines Embassy. Both sides reaffirmed commitment to deepen the existing partnership in defence and security matters that are of mutual importance.
