On 5 September 2023, H.E. Ambassador Dato Seri Nazri Aziz received a courtesy call from Ms. Elina Noor, Senior Fellow of the Asia Programme at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. The courtesy call also served as a platform for both sides to exchange views on current developments in the U.S. and the Southeast Asia region.
Engagements as such are part of the Embassy’s efforts to maintain warm relations with successful Malaysians in the U.S. Ms. Elina Noor who was a recipient of the Perdana (Malaysian Prime Minister’s) Fellowship and a Georgetown University’s Women in International Security Scholar, is one of the known Malaysian International Relations experts in Washington’s think tank community.
