On 29 April 2026, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Mr. Syed Farizal Aminy Syed Mohamad attended the handover of the ASEAN Committee in Washington, D.C. (ACW) Chairmanship from Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Cambodia, held at the Embassy of Brunei.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C. extends its appreciation to Brunei for its leadership and looks forward to working closely with Cambodia in further strengthening ASEAN unity and cooperation in the U.S.
