On 11 February 2026, Deputy Chief of Mission Syed Farizal Aminy had a courtesy discussion with Deputy Assistant Secretary Aleshia Duncan, Office of Nuclear Energy, U.S. Department of Energy.
The meeting provided the opportunity for both sides to discuss potential collaboration between Malaysia and the U.S. in the field of energy security as well as regional energy cooperation.
