On 14 December 2010, the Embassy of Malaysia Club in Washington, D.C. hosted a Farewell and Welcoming gathering. The event was to bid farewell to En. Ram Singh, Agriculture Counsellor; Pn. Nasreen Nawab Zadah Khan, MITI Second Secretary; En. Aderin Mohd. Uzir, Third Secretary (Consular) and Pn. Saimun Ismail, Personal Assistant to the Ambassador. The gathering was also to formally welcome En. Shahril Effendi Abd. Ghany, the Deputy Chief of Mission and En. Khairul Azam Bani, First Secretary. The Embassy Club also took the opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of 47 members whose birthdays fall between May and December.
