On 16 November 2010, the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington D.C. hosted Adil Adha festivities for the Malaysian community. The prayers, which began in the morning, was followed by an informal get together. Later in the week, several livestock were slaughtered according to Muslim practices and distributed to commemorate Adil Adha.
