On 29 August 2023, H.E. Dato’ Seri Nazri Aziz hosted the Children’s HeartLink’s President, Ms. Jackie Boucher. Both sides explored new opportunities for collaboration between Malaysia and the Children’s HeartLink in the field of pediatric cardiac care. The Ambassador reaffirmed Malaysia’s strong commitment to providing quality health care to its citizens including in improving the health of children.
The Children’s HeartLink is a non-profit organization that provides access to pediatric cardiac care to children with congenital heart disease. It has partnered with Malaysia’s Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) and Serdang Hospital, serving more than 14,000 children since 2007. The meeting was a positive step towards improving the health of children in Malaysia and around the world.
