4 June, Washington D.C. : The Embassy of Malaysia hosted the Eid celebration with Embassy staff and Malaysian diaspora living in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area. More than 350 people attended the event and everyone had the chance to enjoy Raya delicacies like nasi impit, lemang, rendang, lontong and kuih raya in a festive atmosphere. There were also students who came all the way from Ohio! The Embassy also hosted ASEAN Ambassadors and their spouses, officials from the US Department of State and the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council at the reception.
