23072025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia, received a courtesy call from Dr. Mimi Faisyalini Ramli, Head of the Department of International Relations, and Ts. Dr. Furzani Pa’ee, Head of the Department of International Promotion and Marketing, both from the International Office of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).
During the visit, both parties engaged in discussions on potential areas of collaboration in education and academic exchange between UTHM and higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. They also discussed cooperation in Halal training as UTHM is a certified trainer of JAKIM. Youth cooperation is another area where the students council of UTHM is planning to visit. The meeting also served to further strengthen bilateral relations in the field of higher education and to promote Malaysia as a regional hub for quality tertiary education.
