18092025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia, received a Courtesy Call from Dr. Mohamed Eskandar Shah Mohd Rasid, Chief Executive Officer of ISRA Consulting, accompanied by Mr. Mohd Hasnol Mohd Yunus, Director of Strategic Marketing & Partnership, and Ms. Siti Fariza Mohd Dahlan, Director of the Registrar’s Office, Student Experience & Alumni Relations. The delegation was in Tashkent to participate in the 20th International Shariah Scholars Forum (ISSF 2025). The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss areas of collaboration in Islamic finance, education, and consultancy services, as well as to explore potential initiatives that could strengthen academic and professional linkages between Malaysia and Uzbekistan. The Ambassador welcomed the delegation and expressed his support for initiatives that promote Malaysia’s expertise in Islamic finance and higher education on the international stage.
