Flag-off Ceremony for Kembara Inspirasi Haji 2017

A group of 8 Malaysian travelers dropped by the Embassy on 10 August 2017 and paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Ambassador. Known as Kembara Inspirasi Haji (Hajj Pilgrimage Expedition) 2017, the group is currently en route from Tanjung Piai, Malaysia to perform hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia by land. They have travelled approximately 10,500km before reaching Tashkent and have about 6,000km left on their journey. The Embassy also held a Flag-off Ceremony, which was performed by Her Excellency Ambassador, to symbolize the start of the next leg of the group's journey.
