090224 Meeting was held with Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Kyrgyzstan and a luncheon meeting with Halal Agency under the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan. Malaysia offers years of expertise in the Halal industry to be shared with countries in the region. Mr. Hairol Ariffien Sahari CEO and Mr. Mohd. Zamulud Awang Kechik, Chief Commercial Officer of Halal Development Corporation Berhad were at the meetings. The Halal ecosystem includes pharmaceutical, food, waqaf as well as banking and finance. It is hoped that this initial meetings will pave the way of more interactions between the two countries and the region in the Halal industry.
