28052025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia (accredited to the Republic of Tajikistan), held a constructive meeting with Mr. Sherali Jonon, Head of the Department of Asia-Pacific Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and regional cooperation within the Asia-Pacific framework.
The purpose of the Ambassador’s visit was to participate in the high-level international conference on glacier preservation, held from 29 to 31 May 2025 in Dushanbe, where global experts and policymakers convened to address the urgent challenges of glacier conservation and climate resilience.
