22112024 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias appeared on the TV program Yoshlar Oqshomi as part of the official activities surrounding the Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) 2024. He was joined by Mr. Nor Shazly Azmi, First Secretary and Director of the Tourism Section at the Almaty Office, and Mr. Zainalfitri Mohd Noor, Assistant Director of the International Promotions Division at Tourism Malaysia. The program, which reached an estimated audience of 5 million viewers that evening, featured engaging discussions on Malaysia's tourism and cultural ties with Uzbekistan. Additionally, the broadcast showcased a captivating performance of traditional Malay dance by local Uzbek artists, highlighting the vibrant cultural exchange and strengthening mutual appreciation between the two nations. His Excellency also spoke about Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and hope many visitors will come from Uzbekistan.
