Visit of the Malaysia Historical Society to the Republic of Uzbekistan, 28th April - 06th May, 2009

VISIT OF THE MALAYSIA HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO

THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN, 28^th April – 06^th May 2009   

The Malaysia Historical Society make a visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan from 28th April - 06th May 2009.  They paid a courtesy call on H.E. Abd. Aziz Harun, Ambassador of Malaysia to Republic of Uzbekistan on 29th April 2009, from 10.00 a.m – 12.00 noon at his residence.  The group consisting of 26 members was led by Y.Bhg. Dato' Hj. Omar bin Mohd. Hashim.  Officials from the Institute of History, Uzbekistan are also present during the courtesy call. 

         In the afternoon, they visited the National State University of Tashkent and the Institute of History, Uzbekistan.  Besides Tashkent, they will also make a visit to other historical places like Samarkand, Shahrizabs and  Bukhara.
