16052025 His Excellency Ilham Tuah Illias, Ambassador of Malaysia, paid a visit to a local confectionery factory, where he held discussions on the potential use and benefits of Malaysian palm oil in confectionery production. During the visit, His Excellency highlighted that palm oil is the most widely produced and consumed vegetable oil in the world, valued for its versatility, long shelf life, and cost-effectiveness. He also emphasized Malaysia's role as one of the leading global producers of sustainably sourced palm oil, offering a high-quality ingredient suitable for various food manufacturing applications, including baked goods, chocolates, and other confectionery products. It is sadden to see other vegetable oils discrediting it and misguide public which is highly unethical without concrete evidence.
