VMY 2007 launched in Tashkent

Malaysian Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor launched Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2007 at a press conference (PC) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan – on 26 October 2006. More than 40 journalists and tour operators attended the PC. The Malaysian Minister also witnessed the signing ceremony of the ‘Protocol of Intention’ between ‘Uzbektourism’ (Uzbek Ministry of Tourism) and Malaysia Tourism Exchange Berhad (MATEX).
