CURRENT DEVELOPMENT IN YEMEN

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the current developments taking place in Yemen, particularly in Sana’a.

To date, reports received indicate that Malaysians in Yemen are safe.

The Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat, Oman is in constant contact with Malaysians residing in Yemen. However, as the current security situation in Yemen remains fluid and uncertain, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to advise all Malaysians to defer all non-essential travel to Yemen.

All Malaysians who are in Yemen are advised to register with the Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat, Oman if they have not done so. Malaysians who require assistance or further information could contact the Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat, Oman at the following:
