EARTHQUAKE IN SOUTHEASTERN IRAN
A 6.0-magnitude earthquake hit southeastern Iran near the city of Kerman, 1000 KM
south of Tehran at about 6.00 A.M. (local time) on 1 December 2017. It was reported that at least 42 people were injured and as many as 30 homes had been destroyed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to confirm that thus far no Malaysians are reportedly affected by the aforesaid earthquake.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Tehran is closely monitoring the situation. Any Malaysians affected by this disaster are encouraged to contact the Embassy at:
