Consular Assistance to Malaysian National

On 3 February 2009, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Dubai was informed by family members that Mr. Abu Bakar Razali was being held at Bur Dubai Police Station. Officials from the Consulate General of Malaysia visited him in the evening of the same day. The officials provided the necessary consular assistance to Mr. Abu Bakar Razali until he was released on 5 February 2009 at around 2.30pm.
