On 25 June 2025, Mr. Mohd Fadly Amri Aliaman, Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai, received a courtesy visit from representatives of EXIM Bank Malaysia. The delegation from EXIM Bank was led by Mr. Mohamed Rozaimi Che Ani, Head of SME & Specialised Financing, Business Division, accompanied by Mr. Abdul Muiz Kamal, Relationship Manager for ME & Specialised Financing, and Mr. Mohd Ezzuddin.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on potential areas of collaboration to support Malaysian companies seeking to expand their presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Discussions touched on the facilitation of trade and investment, and financing opportunities available to prospective Malaysian companies venturing into the UAE.
The Consul General welcomed the proactive engagement by EXIM Bank and reaffirmed the Consulate General’s support for initiatives that strengthen Malaysia’s economic footprint in the UAE, particularly in alignment with the government’s broader agenda to promote Malaysian businesses abroad.
