FORUM ON ISLAMIC FINANCE ORGANISED BY MYUAE
On 15 May 2015, MyUAE organised Forum on Islamic Finance at Al Nasa Clubhouse. A similar event was organised last year but on a different subject. The event was participated by more than 100 Malaysians and was in conjuction with the Israk and Mikraj celebration. The event was started by doa recitation and prayers by Muslim members. The President of MyUAE welcomed all to the event and hoped the topic of the forum would benefit all.
H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, Consul General of Malaysia gave an introductory speech to all and introduced new members of the Consulate General Office to all. 2 speakers (experts in Islamic Banking) gave their views and thoughts on Islamic Banking. Their explanations were indeed an eye opener for most of the participants. The event was considered a major success and should be held on annual basis.
