“HARI SUKAN NEGARA” 2015

The Consulate General of Malaysia and all Malaysian agencies in Dubai co-organised a bowling tournament in conjunction with the “Hari Sukan Negara” 2015 as instructed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia. In essence, the activity was carried out at Dubai International Bowling Centre, Al Mamzaar, Dubai. A total of 150 people, including supporters attended this event to support the consulate and also their respective teams. The number of teams taking part was 20 groups with each team consisting of 4 participants.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Dato 'Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai and begun exactly at 10.00 am. Other participants apart from Consulate General HBS were Malaysian professionals working with estabished companies such as Eversendai, Operon Middle East, Petronas, DK - Schweizer, MY-UAE and Emirates airlines.
The event ended at 12 noon and the top three winners managed to win prizes donated by Malaysian government agencies and Malaysian companies in Dubai. The activity had achieved its objective where all Malaysians worked their socks out for the success of the Hari Sukan Negara and it is also one of the public diplomacy programs to reach out to the hearts of Malaysians abroad.
