Malaysian Association in the UAE (MyUAE) launches 'Caring Malaysians' Ramadan Program

In response to the plight by the international community to lessen the sufferings of victims of the worst famine in decades in Somalia, MyUAE Dubai and the UAE Red Crescent Authority, Dubai  and with the support of the Consulate General of Malaysia, Dubai have mobilised the Caring Malaysians Ramadan Program to collect contributions to be channelled to the victims of the famine crisis in Somalia.

 

A briefing session conducted by Mr. Affandy M. Shaari, President of MyUAE was held  over an iftar on 16  August.  MyUAE welcomes participation and involvement from the Malaysians and others to join this noble drive to assist the famine victims in Somalia. The event was also attended by Amb. Dato Yahaya Abd. Jabar, Consul General Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin and Heads of Malaysian agencies in Dubai and several hafiz  (memorisers) from Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Russia, Krygistan, and Thailand  who are participating at the 15th. Dubai International Holy Quran Award.
