MALAYSIAN EVACUEES FROM YEMEN
7 AND 16 APRIL 2015
Due to the ongoing civil war in Yemen, Malaysia has decided to bring back all its nationals in the conflict stridden country. Malaysians in Yemen mostly are scattered in three different regions namely Sana’a, Aden and Hadramawt.
The Consulate General of Malaysia, Dubai was one of few Missions tasked to assist Malaysians during their transit in Dubai. The first group of 41 Malaysians transited at Dubai International Airport on 7 April 2015 and the second group consists of 42 Malaysians transited on 16 April 2015.
Overall the process went on smoothly without any disruption.
