MALAYSIAN REPRESENTATIVE AT THE DUBAI INTERNATIONAL HOLY QURAN AWARD 2016
Malaysian reprentative, Mr. Mohamad Omar bin Mansu, a student from Kolej Universiti Insaniah, Kedah is currently in Dubai participating in the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. The event is currently ongoing at the Dubai Chambers, UAE from 6 - 25 June 2016. The finals and prize giving ceremony will be done on 25 June 2016.
Year 2016 is the 20th anniversary for the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. This year around 91 candidates from 91 countries took place in the event. There are 4 main categories in the event which are Anugerah Al-Quran Antarabangsa, Anugerah Al-Quran – Sheikah Hind bint Maktoum, Anugerah Bacaan Terbaik dan Anugerah Hafazan Emarati.
The officiating ceremony were attended by H.E Dato' Ahmad Anwar Adnan, Ambassador of Malaysia to the UAE, H.E. Yubazlan Yusof, Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai and Mr. Mohd Norsam Abdul Rahman, Vice Consul Education Malaysia.
Mr. Mohamad Omar bin Mansu also while in Dubai involved in Ihya Ramadhan Programme co-hosted by Consulate General of Malaysia Dubai together with MYUAE on 10 ann 17 Jun 2016.
