Malaysian Sukuk and Capital Markets Seminar - Dubai

A half day seminar was co-organised by Latham & Watkins and Zico Law (Zaid Ibrahim & Co) at the Adress Downtown Dubai on 5 November 2012.  The seminar was officiated by Consul General Dato' Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin with the involvement of several Malaysian financial institutions i.e. Mayban Islamic Berhad, CIMB, Standard Chartered Bank, Emirates NBD, Bank AkKhair Malaysia, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Bank Negara Malaysia, Securities Commission Malaysia and HSBC. Mr. Christopher Hall, Chairman of the Latham & Watkins LLP and Dato Dr. Nik Nozrul Thani, Chairman & Senior Partner of Zaid Ibrahim & Co chaired two separate panel sessions in explaining the opportunities in the Malaysian Sukuk Market for GCC and other non-Malaysian issuers.
