The Consulate General of Malaysia in Dubai participated in the “In Focus” session organised by Dubai Chambers on 26 June 2025 at its headquarters, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement with key host-country stakeholders in support of Malaysia’s economic diplomacy objectives.
The session, held under Dubai Chambers’ New Horizons initiative, featured four markets—Malaysia, Cambodia, Georgia and Armenia—and was officiated by H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers. It was attended by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, together with more than 160 participants from government-linked entities, business chambers, investment promotion agencies and the private sector.
During the discussion segment, Dato’ Mohd Fadly Amri Aliaman, Consul General of Malaysia highlighted Malaysia’s strengths and competitive advantages as a trade and investment hub, positioning the country as a strategic gateway to the wider ASEAN market of over 680 million people.
