YB Datuk Hasan Malek, Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (DTCC) and senior officials of the Ministry and agencies made a working visit to Dubai from 14-18 December 2013.
During the visit, a programme; Majlis Bersama Rakyat was held on 16 December 2013 which was co-hosted by the Consulate General of Malaysia, DTCC and Ministry of Agriculture with the Malaysian community and professionals in the UAE. FAMA through Ministry of Agriculture also contributed 1.5 metric tonnes of Malaysian fruits for the event. i.e. durian, rambutan, mangosteen, papaya, pineapples, guava, jackfruit etc.
