YAB PM Dato’ Seri Najib Razak and wife Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor had a three-day official visit to a UAE from 17 – 19 May 2014. During the visit YAB PM was awarded The Union Order (the highest award for foreign dignitaries) in recognition to YAB PM’s effort to elevate Malaysia-UAE bilateral relation. YAB PM and HH Crown Prince Abu Dhabi attended the signing ceremony of two MoU on Tourism and Higher Education. The Malaysia1DB also signed an agreement with AWQAF Abu Dhabi to build a mosque funded by the AWQAF in Bandar Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
YAB PM also had an audience with HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai on 18 May 2014 at the Zaabel Palace. A joint military exercise between Malaysia and UAE was conducted in Abu Dhabi on 19 May 2014.
