Malaysia was represented by the Secretary General of the Ministry of International Trade and Investment and officers from MITI HQ as well as MITI WTO in Geneva. The Secretary General also took the opportunity to meet with Malaysian business entitities in Argentina such as PETRONAS and IJM who are currently operating in Buenos Aires. Both shared current updates on their business operations.

Business Forum, 14 December 2017 - Taking the opportunity of the presence of the Secretary General of MITI in Buenos Aires, the MATRADE Office in collaboration with Embassy of Malaysia and Argentina Chamber of Commerce organised a Business Forum on 14 December 2017 at the Sheraton Hotel to promote trade and investment opportunities in Malaysia. The Forum was attended by 120 participants. At the Forum a presentation was made on “Trade and Investment Opportunites in Malaysia”. At the sideline of the Business Forum, meetings were also held with MEDEX and Chairman of IMPSA.
