On 2 September 2021, the ASEAN Committee in Buenos Aires (ACBA) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship jointly hosted the ASEAN Day Celebration at the Palacio San Martin. The event began with the National Anthem of Argentina followed by the ASEAN anthem. The Ambassador of Philippines, HE Linglingay Lacanlale, as the Chair of ACBA then delivered the opening remarks, followed by the Guest of Honour, HE Pablo Tettamanti, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. Both highlighted the importance to explore new areas of cooperation and economic opportunities to further strengthen the relations between ASEAN and Argentina. The event then ended with a ceremonial toast and video collage of ACBA activities.
El 2 de septiembre el Comité de la ASEAN en Buenos Aires (ACBA) y el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto celebraron el día de la ASEAN en el Palacio San Martin. El evento comenzó con el discurso de la Embajadora de Filipinas, S.E. Linglingay Lacanlale, y siguió con las palabras del invitado de honor, S.E. Pablo Anselmo Tettamanti, Secretario de Relaciones Exteriores. Ambos destacaron la importancia de explorar nuevas áreas de cooperación y oportunidades económicas para fortalecer las relaciones entre la ASEAN y Argentina. El evento concluyó con un brindis y un video de las actividades organizadas por el ACBA.
