On 8 August 2017, the ASEAN Day Golden Jubilee Celebration in Buenos Aires was hosted by ASEAN Ambassadors Group in BA (AAGBA) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Argentina. The momentous event saw the participation of more than 200 people consisting of Diplomats, Government officials, businessmen, media and friends of ASEAN. It was held at the Manuel Belgrano Auditorium, MFA Argentina and was officiated by HE. Daniel Raimodi, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Argentina. All 5 ASEAN Embassies in BA i.e. Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam joint force to host the event with a dynamic and multifaceted cultural show and food display of all countries. A special mini photo exhibition was also held entitled ASEAN in Argentina.
