BOMBING ATTACK IN PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN
The Government of Malaysia strongly condemns the bus bombing attack that took place in Peshawar on 16 March 2016, which has so far killed 15 and injured 53 people.
The Government of Malaysia expresses its deepest condolences and sympathies to the Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and to the families of the victims affected by the attack. Malaysia regards this latest incident as an atrocious act of terrorism and hopes that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
So far there has been no indication of any Malaysian casualties. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia through the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad will continue to monitor the situation.
