On 30 January 2020, H.E Dato’ Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak, Ambassador had a business luncheon with Mr. Juan Carlos Fernandez, the CEO of IMPSA Argentina. The meeting discussed and exchanged views on the possible strategic alliances that includes new business opportunities and technological exchange regarding energy generation between Malaysia and IMPSA. The company has been present in Malaysia since 1989 and was a key player in the Bakún project in Sarawak, including the upgrading of the new hydraulic & mechanical design of the Tenom Pangi Hydroelectric Power Station. IMPSA has been a leader in the provision of port cranes for several years and established its production center in the Asian country.
