23 April 2020 - After the imposing of mandatory quarantine in Argentina from 20 March 2020, the embassy was operating with minimal staff as we implemented the Telework concept. Today after a month, all officers and staff had a meeting and review the onwards office operation. Ambassador had the opportunity to chair a staff meeting where he shared with all the importance to maintain good hygiene, discuss the latest Covid-19 updates in Argentina and Malaysia, our continued consular assistance and the way forward, certainly a good interactive session with strict social distancing that had benefited all of us. Ambassador also distributed some face masks to all embassy's team.
Since it is the last day to eat before the holy month of Ramadan Mubarak, Ambassador hosted a simple luncheon (Indian cuisines) for officers and staff as a reward for their hard work, dedication and support to the embassy during this trying times.
