On 25 October 2017, Dato’ Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak, Ambassador held Networking Meeting with Mr. Jorge Dillion, President of National Food Safety and Quality Service (Spanish: Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria, SENASA). Both sides had a fruitful and interactive discussion on jumpstarting back Argentine Halal beef and poultry exports to Malaysia. The exports to Malaysia was ceased in 2011 due to some phytosanitary issues.
