On 10 December 2019, H.E Dato’ Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak, Ambassador represented Government of Malaysia to the new Presidential Inauguration Ceremony at Congress. Mr. Alberto Fernández sworn-in as the new president of the nation in front of the Legislative Assembly. In a ceremony chaired by outgoing Vice-President Gabriela Michetti, President Fernández took his oath pledging loyalty to "God and the homeland." The outgoing President Macri attended personally to hand over sash and baton. Ambassador and his fellow colleagues attended the first ceremony at the Congress later they were transferred via micro van to the Presidential Office or Casa Rosada.
