VISIT OF CATHOLIC SALTA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TO THE EMBASSY OF MALAYSIA, BUENOS AIRES - 16 SEPTEMBER 2010

 On 16 September 2010, His Excellency Dato’ Zulkifli Yaacob, Ambassador of Malaysia to Argentina hosted a visit by 18 students and their lecturers from the Faculty of International Relations of Catholic Salta University at the Embassy of Malaysia in Buenos Aires. Catholic Salta University is located in Salta province, situated in northwestern Argentina, 1,600 kilometers from Buenos Aires.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Malaysia’s administrative system, history, economy, cultural, achievement, domestic polices as well as foreign policy. The students also had the opportunity to view video footage of Malaysia which later proceeded with exhilarating question and answer session. The delegation expressed particular interest in 1Malaysia concept of national unity as well as Malaysia’s foreign policy and stances towards several international issues.

After the briefing took place, the delegation was invited for refreshment prepared by the Embassy such as Mee Goreng Mamak, Nasi Goreng Cina, Kuih Lapis, Kek Pisang and few other desserts. The delegation was delighted to be introduced to the Malaysian foods and thanked the Embassy for hosting such a wonderful programme.
