Malaysia attaches great importance to education as it´s a key driver for fostering economic growth, reducing poverty, social development, etc.
Hence, Ambassador Azman Rahim and Minister Counsellor Ahmad Shazril are actively engaged with students from the local schools and Universities in Argentina, to talk about Malaysia and ASEAN with a view to expose students on international relations and diplomacy.
On 18 October, Ambassador Azman visited Marian Reina School, located in Escalada, Lanus, to deliver a talk to 100 students ranging from 14 to 18 years old.
On 26 October, Minister Counsellor Ahmad Shazril Suhaimi participated in an interactive virtual meeting with students from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA)
The Embassy would like to thank both Maria Reina School and UBA for the invitation and opportunity given to engage with the vibrant young generation of Argentina. It is also part of the Embassy´s outreach programme to get to know Argentina through people-to-people diplomacy.
