Minister for Defence Linda Reynolds hosted the 2nd Malaysia-Australia High Level Committee on Defence Cooperation in Canberra on 25 September 2019. YB Mohamad bin Sabu, Minister of Defence Malaysia led an eight-member Malaysian member delegation, which included Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Haji Zulkifli Haji Zainal Abidin.
Besides the High Level Committee Meeting, the one-day visit programme included briefings on cyber security at the Australian Cyber Security Centre; Ceremonial Honour Guard; informal session with military cadets and seconded officers; and a visit to the Australia’s War Memorial where both ministers as well as the Chief Defence Forces laid wreaths during the Last Post Ceremony.
