Mr. Zamani Ismail, Chargés d'Affaires ad interim attended the Merdeka Gala Dinner, organised by the Australia Malaysia Business Council, South Australia (AMBC-SA) at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 26th August 2017. The Merdeka Gala Dinner is an annual charity fundraising event by AMBC-SA which brings together participants ranging from corporate and government representatives from Malaysia and Australia, institutional leaders, to prominent entrepreneurs across South Australia. The event also featured the Merdeka Awards, presented to 3 outstanding final year Malaysian students completing university studies in Adelaide. The event was also attended by the Governor of South Australia, His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC.
