AMI Muslim Exchange Program Welcome Dinner was held yesterday (Monday, 20/4/2015) at the Little Malaysia Restaurant, 26 Liverpool Street, Melbourne from 7.00 till 9.00 pm. The dinner was held to welcome an incoming delegation of five emerging Muslim leaders from Malaysia. The 5 Malaysians are Atiqah Zaki, Azril Mohd Amin, Dyana Sofya, Fadzmel Fadzil and Liyana Sarah. The group is currently in Melbourne (19-21 April) and will then travel to Canberra and Sydney.

AMI or the Australia-Malaysia Institute was established in 2005 to strengthen people to people and institutional links with Malaysia and to deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between Malaysia and Australia. The Consul General of Malaysia gave a welcoming speech to the delegation during the said dinner.
