Federal Agents, Dan Culliford and Graig Freeman met Dr Rameez this morning at the Consulate General of Malaysia, Melbourne (Monday, 16/07/2012). The meeting was held to inform Dr Rameez on the function of the Protection Liaison Team of the Australian Federal Police (AFP). Functions/responsibilities of the Protection Liaison Team of the AFP can include, but are not limited to:- collect information on any possible threats/acts likely to offend the diplomatic community and to assist them with handling threats. They also requested information from Dr Rameez whether there is currently any threat to Officers of the CG Malaysia, Melbourne.
