URGENT: Consular and Immigration Services taking effect on Tuesday 24/3/2020

In line with the announcement made by the Australian Government, Consulate General of Malaysia in Melbourne will implement new measures on its operation hours and services taking effect on Tuesday 24/3/2020.

Please take note of the following :

i.          All services are by APPOINTMENT only. NO walk-in applications will be entertained.

ii.         To ENSURE that the processing of documents will be done expeditiously, please ensure that all supporting documents are in order as per the following checklists in the relevant links below:

iii.        To schedule for an appointment, please email us at vc.melbourne@imi.gov.my.  Due to the seriousness of the state government on social distancing, we will consider your application based on the URGENCY of the application’s matters and complete supporting documents.  You will be notified via email once the appointment date has been allocated.

iv.        Please also be informed that health screening (body temperature check) will be carried out at the entrance of the Consulate General of Malaysia.
